Every October, Dubrovnik lays one long table down Stradun. Hotels, restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops and winemakers serve their dishes along it, and the money goes to charity. This is the Dubrovnik Table, the finale of the Good Food Festival. The Dubrovnik Tourist Board has run the festival in Dubrovnik every autumn since 2014.
The festival lasts two weeks. In 2026 it ran from 5 to 18 October in Dubrovnik, Župa dubrovačka, Cavtat, Konavle and the Dubrovnik Littoral. The programme rests on five parts: festival menus in restaurants, guest-chef dinners, workshops, excursions to producers, and street food with concerts. The 2026 edition was the 13th.
Restaurants serve festival menus for two weeks
The backbone of the festival is Two Weeks of Restaurants, Dva tjedna restorana in Croatian. Restaurants serve special festival menus at promotional prices, inspired by local and Mediterranean cooking, according to the tourist board. In 2026, 65 restaurants took part: 48 in Dubrovnik, 10 in Cavtat and Konavle, five in Župa dubrovačka and two in the Dubrovnik Littoral, Just Dubrovnik reported.
The tourist board publishes the menus together with the programme. The list has grown over the years. In 2022 almost 40 restaurants offered festival menus, Time Out reported.

Guest chefs cook one-night dinners
Guest chefs from Croatia and abroad cook single dinners in Dubrovnik restaurants and hotels, mostly with five courses. Places are limited, and the organisers advise booking ahead. The 2026 programme listed Stiven Vunić with a Kvarner menu at Akademis Čingrija on 8 October and Mario Mihelj at Restaurant Dubrovnik on 11 October. Matija Bogdan was set for Marco Polo on 13 October at 19:00. Tibor Valinčić, head chef of Dubravkin put in Zagreb, followed at Akademis Čingrija on 14 October at 18:30.
The Salin restaurant of Hotel Excelsior planned two Taste the Mediterranean dinners at 20:00. Giacomo Sacchetto and Mate Matić cooked on 15 October, Ilane Tinchant and Petar Obad on 16 October. Starred chefs have come before. In 2022 Marijo Curić, a Michelin-starred chef, served a five-course dinner with wine pairing on 14 October for 450 kuna, Time Out reported.
Workshops and trips take guests to the producers
Workshops teach traditional Dubrovnik dishes, desserts and Croatian specialities. In 2026 the association DEŠA ran free cooking workshops at the Lazareti from 13 to 16 October, DuList reported. On the list were torta od skorupa, the Dubrovnik cream cake, and marinated fish. Other workshops covered wild herbs, specialty coffee, painting with wine and ceramics.
Excursions lead out of the city to fields, groves and farms. The 2026 programme listed Divlja gozba, a wild feast, with Ana Ugarković in Ljubač: guests gather wild plants and then sit down to lunch. A walk on the Napoleon Road ended with brunch at the Trsteno Arboretum. On the last day a bus took guests to a picnic in an olive grove at Pobrežje. Jadranka Ničetić led a free lemon workshop in Župa dubrovačka.

Street food and concerts fill the Lazareti
The festival has a loud side at the Lazareti, the old quarantine buildings by the Ploče Gate. In 2022 the street food festival Bavarin ran there for four days from 13 October, with free entry and six food stands. TBF closed it with a concert on 16 October. In 2026 the format returned as FOODravanje and ran for seven days, from 5 to 11 October. Food and drink were served from 11:00 to midnight. DJs played from 20:00, and concerts began at 21:00.
The Dubrovnik Table closes the festival on Stradun
The Dubrovnik Table, Dubrovačka trpeza in Croatian, is the finale. Tables run along Stradun, and hotels, restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops, wineries, caterers and family farms serve food at them. Visitors buy vouchers and pay with them at the stands. In 2026 vouchers went on sale at 9:00 at five points along Stradun. They cost 8 euros for food and 4 euros for wine. The opening followed at 11:00 in front of the Church of St Blaise, with the klapa Kaše singing.
All money from food and drink goes to charity. In 2026 two associations shared 20,289.99 euros: the Association of the Blind and the Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, JUGinfo reported. In 2025, too, all proceeds went to charity, HRT reported. The City of Dubrovnik, the tourist board, the county, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the crafts chamber, the caterers' guild and the Dubrovnik tourism and catering school organise the table together.
The table is older than the festival. In 2026 it was laid for the 17th time, at the 13th festival. Croatia Week described a table close to 200 metres long on Sunday 22 October 2017, marking the end of the tourist season. HRT counted 200 metres and 65 participants in 2025. In 2026 JUGinfo reported 170 metres and more than 60 participants.
