Who writes Croatia Atlas
Croatia Atlas is written and maintained from Zagreb, not from a content farm. This page says by whom, how, and who pays for it.

Croatia Atlas is built by Kristijan Bezjak, a software developer based in Zagreb, as part of the Croatian sole proprietorship Gearstack. The same work feeds the CroVenture app: the places on this site and the places in the app come from one curated database, checked by hand.
Articles are signed Croatia Atlas Editorial because research, writing and translation into five languages happen as one workflow in one small shop, not because there is a newsroom to hide.

The rules are short and we hold ourselves to them:
- Safety, weather and traffic information is quoted from official sources only, DHMZ, MeteoAlarm, HAK and the responsible ministries, always with a link and a retrieval time. When in doubt, the original wording counts.
- Every one of the 940 curated places has been checked by hand: coordinates, names in eight languages, and a photo with proper attribution from Wikimedia Commons, or no photo at all. A wrong photo is worse than none.
- Machine translation is labelled as such and shown next to the original, never instead of it.
- No clickbait. Headlines say what a thing is, numbers come with a source, and superlatives have to be earned.
How the site earns money
Croatia Atlas is financed by optional purchases inside the free CroVenture app and by clearly marked Google advertising on some content pages. There are no affiliate links and no paid placements in the guides: no place, hotel or tour is listed because anyone paid for it.
Corrections
If something is wrong, outdated or badly translated, one email is enough. Corrections are made in the article itself, not hidden.
