Jadrolinija off-season from 28 September 2026: fares and timetables

Two things change at the end of September on the state ferry lines that Jadrolinija runs under contract with the coastal shipping agency. Fares: the seasonal price list applies from 29 May to 27 September 2026, the off-season list from 28 September to 31 December and again from 1 January to 28 May. Timetables: most lines switch from the high-season to the low-season schedule on 1 October, some earlier. Everything below comes from the official 2026 timetables published by the Agencija za obalni linijski pomorski promet, which carry the price lists on their second page and the note that timetables are subject to change.

Not every line gets cheaper

Seasonal pricing is not universal. Line 335 from Prizna to Žigljen on Pag has a seasonal and an off-season list; lines 631 Split to Supetar, 431 Zadar to Preko and 332 Valbiska to Merag have a single list for the whole year. Island residents' fares and public-service fares apply all year on every line. Children up to three travel free, and children from three to twelve pay about half on the lines that have a children's fare.

Four lines in detail

• 631 Split to Supetar: from 1 October twelve sailings each way. From Split the first is at 05:00 and the last at 23:59, from Supetar 05:00 to 22:45. The 05:00 sailings do not run on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and the 23:59 from Split and 22:45 from Supetar do not run on 24, 25 and 31 December.
• 335 Prizna to Žigljen: from 28 September thirteen sailings each way, from Prizna 05:45 to 21:15 and from Žigljen 06:00 to 21:30. The 05:45 and 06:00 sailings skip Sundays and holidays, and the 15:50 from Prizna runs only until 25 October. On 1 January, 25 and 26 December only six sailings operate. In high season, from 3 July to 30 August, the line runs 21 times a day.
• 431 Zadar to Preko: from 1 October seventeen sailings each way, from Zadar's Gaženica port 05:00 to 23:00 and from Preko 05:30 to 22:30. Several morning and midday sailings skip Sundays and holidays, and the 06:20, 16:40 and 23:00 from Zadar do not run on 1 January, 5 April, 25 and 26 December. The ferry calls at Ošljak Monday to Saturday at 07:30 and 14:45 from Zadar and at 12:15 and 18:40 from Preko.
• 332 Valbiska to Merag: from 1 October twelve sailings each way, from Merag 05:00 to 22:30 and from Valbiska 05:45 to 23:59. From 4 October the first sailing skips Sundays and holidays, the 06:30 from Merag does not run on 1 January, 25 and 26 December, and the last sailings do not run on 24, 25 and 31 December.

What else changes in autumn

• Italy: all three Jadrolinija routes to Ancona and Bari are cancelled until 21 October 2026 after the fault on the ship Dalmacija.
• Bura: from autumn, catamaran and ferry sailings are cancelled on windy days. Jadrolinija posts the list every morning under Linije u prekidu on its news page; on 10 September two catamaran lines in the Rijeka area were already suspended because of the weather.
• Tickets: a ticket is valid all day for other departures on the same line, so missing a sailing costs time, not money.
• Holidays: on 1 January, 25 and 26 December the timetables thin out on every line above, and on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve the last sailings from Split and on Krk are cut.

Each line has one PDF for the whole year, with the seasons side by side. Roman numerals number the sailings, asterisks mark the days without service, and the footnotes are where the holiday exceptions hide. The second page is the price list with up to four columns: off-season, seasonal, island residents and public service.
