Matija Cvek at Arena Zagreb: 28 November, 8pm

Arena Zagreb calls the concert on Saturday 28 November the biggest solo show of Matija Cvek's career, a stop on his tour Javi trebaš li me (Arena Zagreb). The singer announced the night on 9 March, his birthday (Index). More than 1,000 tickets were gone within two hours that day, tportal reported. His band The Funkensteins joins him on stage.

Cvek reached the Arena by way of smaller rooms. In the past two years he sold out six concerts at Tvornica kulture, and before that he played a large show at Dom sportova (tportal). The set is built on his best-known songs; the Arena names Ptice, Visine, Trebaš li me and Nasloni se.

Tickets and prices

Tickets are on upad.hr, and the promoter is ArtNation (upad.hr). On 5 November all seven categories were on sale and none was marked sold out. Each ticket carries a €1.50 fee on top of the price. The table shows both amounts.

Children up to six get in free but have no seat of their own and sit on a parent's lap. Wheelchair users also enter free with their own ticket, which they request from upad.hr with proof of disability; a companion pays full price. For comparison, tickets for André Rieu on 20 November start at €50.50 including the fee (André Rieu in Zagreb).

Start, doors and finish

The concert starts at 8pm. The upad.hr ticket system lists entry from 7pm and gives 10pm as the end. The Arena asks fans to arrive an hour before the start, as queues build at the entrances. By 5 November neither the Arena nor upad.hr had announced any guests. Small bags are allowed; food, drinks, bottles and umbrellas stay outside, and the full list is in our guide to Arena Zagreb.

Getting to the Arena by tram, bus or car

Trams 7 and 14 run to the roundabout in Novi Zagreb, stop Savski gaj-rotor, and the Arena puts the walk from there at 10 minutes (Arena Zagreb). Tram 14 passes Trg bana Jelačića, and tram 7 stops at the main bus station. Bus 234 runs every 25 minutes from the main railway station to the Arena Zagreb stop.

After the show, the last bus 234 leaves the Arena Zagreb stop for the main station at 23:56, according to the ZET timetable. The last tram 14 towards Mihaljevac passes Savski gaj-rotor between 23:20 and 23:45, depending on the day (ZET). Drivers can park east of the hall at Lidl, west at the car park and garage of the Arena shopping centre, or north at Plodine; spaces inside the Arena complex are reserved for VIP ticket holders (Arena Zagreb).

Advent opens the same day

28 November is also the first day of Advent in Zagreb: the markets open that Saturday and run until 7 January 2027 (Advent in Zagreb). More Arena concerts until early December
