Its last Croatian shows were two nights in a row at Šalata in Zagreb.

8,000 places in summer
In Roman times the amphitheatre held around 23,000 spectators (our Arena guide). Concerts today work with a smaller number. Under the rules Pula mayor Peđa Grbin presented in April 2026, events between 1 May and 30 September may admit at most 8,000 visitors (Croatia Week). 30 June falls inside that window. The Archaeological Museum of Istria oversees structures such as the stage and roofing.
What it means for visitors
30 June 2027 is a Wednesday, so anyone combining the concert with a holiday in Istria plans around the middle of the week. On concert days the Arena's sightseeing hours change or end early, and the concert ticket is separate from the sightseeing ticket. To see the amphitheatre and its underground hall by day, visit in the morning or on another day (Arena guide, Pula in one day).

The Arena stands on the northern edge of the old town on Flavijevska Street. The bus station is a 5-minute walk away, with long-distance buses from Rijeka, Zagreb, Trieste and Ljubljana. Pula Airport lies about 6 km north-east at Valtura, with a shuttle bus and taxis to the centre. By car, the motorway across Istria ends in Pula, and the paid car parks around the Arena are the place to stop. Drivers from Munich or Vienna cross Slovenia and need its vignette (vignettes and tolls).
For an evening concert a base in the centre works best: from the old town and the bus station the Arena is at most a 10-minute walk. The hotels on the Verudela peninsula are about 40 minutes on foot along the water or a city bus ride away.
