Zagreb Games Week brings gaming, cosplay, esports and board games to two pavilions of the Zagreb Fair from 13 to 15 November. The Interliber book fair closes at the same fairground that weekend.

Checked: 31 October 2026, 10:20

Zagreb Games Week takes place from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026 at the Zagreb Fair (Zagrebački velesajam) in Novi Zagreb. It is open from 10:00 to 20:00 on all three days, in pavilions 8A and 9 at Avenija Dubrovnik 15. The organiser calls it the largest pop culture and entertainment festival in the region and expects more than 20,000 visitors, over 100 exhibitors and sponsors and more than 7,000 square metres of floor space (Zagreb Games Week). It is aimed at gamers, cosplayers, board game players and fans of anime and comics.

This is the second edition. Zagreb Games Week replaced the earlier InfoGamer show at the fairground in November 2025 (Virus.hr).

What is on in pavilions 8A and 9

The programme is spread across several zones. According to the organiser, these are:

  • Gaming zone: new games on consoles and PCs to try, free play for all visitors.
  • Esports arena: live tournaments on the main stage, with professional teams and finals in front of an audience.
  • Cosplay Village: contests, workshops, photo zones and meet-ups with cosplayers.
  • Retro corner: arcade classics and older consoles.
  • Board games and trading card games (TCG): tournaments for all ages.
  • Pop culture: films, anime, comics and collectors.
  • Creator meet-ups: meet and greets with influencers and live shows.
  • STEM workshops: hands-on technology, VR and AI.

The organiser publishes the programme, a site map and live updates in its own app.

Tickets and opening hours

Tickets are sold only through the organiser's partner ticket.io, linked from the festival's ticket page. There are three types: a day ticket for one day with access to all zones, a festival ticket for all three days and a VIP ticket for three days with priority entry and a gift pack. The festival website does not list prices; they are shown in the ticket shop. Opening hours are the same on all three days: 10:00 to 20:00.

What it means for visitors

  • By tram: Lines 7 (Savski most to Dubrava) and 14 (Mihaljevac to Zapruđe) stop at Velesajam on Avenija Dubrovnik, and line 6 ends at the Sopot loop, a few minutes on foot from the entrance. The organiser recommends public transport at peak times. Until Sunday Games Week shares the fairground with Interliber, one more reason to take the tram.
  • By car: Leave the A3 bypass at the Lučko or Jakuševec junction and follow signs for Novi Zagreb and Velesajam. Parking is inside the fairground, entered from Avenija Dubrovnik, with accessible spaces right by the pavilions.
  • Two fairs in one day: Interliber is free and stays open until 21:00 on Friday and Saturday, an hour longer than Games Week. You can spend the day gaming and still walk through the book fair afterwards.
  • Sunday: Games Week closes at 20:00, Interliber already at 19:00. If you want both, do the books first on Sunday.
  • Evenings in Zagreb: Lisinski, Tvornica kulture and the Arena all have events, see the table. Directions and tips for the hall are in our Arena guide, and everything on the city is on the Zagreb page.
