Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. will play Arena Zagreb on Monday 31 May 2027 at 8pm. The show was planned for the open-air Šalata stadium, where sales opened on Friday 30 October at 11am (tportal). Every ticket was gone within 45 minutes (Novi list). The promoter, Los Angeles Agency, moved the show the same Friday to the arena in south-west Zagreb (Core Event). It will be the band's first headline concert in Croatia; until now they have only played festival sets here.

What happens to Šalata tickets

All tickets bought for Šalata are valid at Arena Zagreb (gig.hr). Anyone who bought a seat in the Šalata side stand will be contacted by the ticket office. They get the best seats in the arena's side stand, and the difference to the new price is refunded. Nobody has to exchange a ticket or buy a new one. At Šalata the first 1,500 tickets cost €49 and the rest €52 (tportal).

New tickets for the arena

Core Event is selling further tickets for the arena. Standing tickets on the floor cost €55 and seats in the stands €62 (Novi list, gig.hr). The Zagreb Tourist Board also lists the concert at its new venue and links to the Core Event sale (Infozagreb). When the show was announced, the band asked for one euro per ticket to go to the children's charity War Child UK (tportal). The tour supports the new album Dopamine Chamber.

What it means for visitors

The concert closes a week with two public holidays. Corpus Christi falls on Thursday 27 May in 2027 and is a public holiday in Croatia, as is Statehood Day on Sunday 30 May (public holidays 2027). Corpus Christi is also a day off in Austria and in parts of Germany and Switzerland. Taking Friday off turns the trip into a long weekend in Zagreb from Thursday to Monday, with the concert as the last night. Monday is a normal working day in Croatia again, so shops are open.
