The 61st Vinkovačke jeseni end the way they always do: with the two evenings of the state review of original Croatian folklore on Saturday and Sunday, and with the ceremonial procession of all the folklore groups, horse carriages and riders through the streets of Vinkovci on Sunday 20 September from 10:00 to 13:00. Vinkovačke jeseni run from 11 to 20 September 2026 and the last three days are the ones the whole of Slavonia comes for. The programme below is the organiser's, published on vinkovackejeseni.hr; the main stage stands in the centre of town, the tent stage next to it, and the procession fills the streets between the stadium and the centre. Friday 18 September
- 20:00 to 21:30, main stage: opening ceremony of the closing weekend.
- 22:00 to midnight, tent stage: concert by Slavonske Lole.
Saturday 19 September
- 11:00 to 14:00, Urban Autumn area: the classic-car parade and rides 'Stari sjaj Vinkovci'.
- 17:00 to 19:00, Runjanina square: showcase of ethnic hairstyles, followed at 21:30 by the ethnic-hairstyles fashion show on the main stage.
- 19:30 to 21:30, main stage: the first evening of the Državna smotra izvornog hrvatskog folklora, the state review of original folklore, the reason the festival exists.

Sunday 20 September
- 10:00 to 13:00, streets of the town: the ceremonial procession of participants of the 61st Vinkovačke jeseni with the review of horse carriages and riders. Every folklore group in costume, every carriage in the region; this is the image the festival is known for. Be on the route by 9:30 for a front-row kerb.
- 12:15 to 13:00, HNK Cibalia stadium: awards and the closing of the procession.
- 19:30 to 21:30, main stage: the second evening of the state folklore review.
- 22:00 to 23:30, main stage: Tony Cetinski closes the 61st festival.
The programme page lists no ticket prices for the stages and no traffic notice; in past years the concerts and the review were free to watch from the square, and the procession route was closed to cars from the morning. Vinkovci is about 20 km north of the A3 motorway and has a railway station on the Zagreb line, so the train is the way to avoid the Sunday parking hunt. If you come for one day, come on Sunday: procession in the morning, the review in the evening, and the town in between.
