When to visit
Croatia in June
June has summer weather without August crowds. The sea is warm, days are at their longest, and festivals begin in Zagreb, Split and on the islands.
- Swim everywhere from mid-June, including Istria and Kvarner.
- Book Plitvice and Dubrovnik walls for early morning, midday queues have started.
- First heat waves are possible; plan sights before noon and beach after.
