An amusement park beside the beach, with rides and mini golf.
Family Park Medulin is an amusement park by Bijeca beach and the easiest answer to an afternoon when the sea grows dull for children: several dozen outdoor attractions, from carousels, trampolines and a little train for the youngest to minigolf, bumper cars and rides that ask for a bit more courage, all in one place and a few steps from the sand. The park works through the season, mostly from late afternoon into the night, which suits the rhythm of a holiday: a day on the beach, dinner, then two hours in the park before bed.
It charges per ride or by a token package, and entry to the park itself is free, so one can come just for a stroll. Alongside the rides work stalls with sweets, ice cream and fast food and several cafés for parents. Everything is tidy, lit and supervised, and the closeness of the beach and the centre means one comes here on foot. For families seeking a way for children to spend surplus energy, this is the safest plan in Medulin.
