Interliber fills the Zagreb fairgrounds from 10 to 15 November 2026 and is the largest book fair in Croatia by a distance. Publishers discount heavily for these six days, which is why people come with bags and lists rather than curiosity; new titles are launched here, and authors sign at their publisher's stand rather than on a stage.
How to work the fair
Go on a weekday if you want to reach the shelves. Weekends are school groups and families and the aisles stop moving. Croatian publishers put their whole catalogue out at fair prices, and the foreign-language sections are worth a pass even if you read no Croatian. Bring cash for the smaller stands and a bag you do not mind filling.
