Tom Odell at Arena Pula

A piano, a voice, and six thousand people in a Roman amphitheatre

Tom Odell brings the A Wonderful Life tour to the Arena in Pula on 23 August 2026, doors and stage at eight. His records live on close, quiet piano and a voice that goes thin on purpose, which is an odd fit for a building made for crowds and blood, and exactly why this works. The Arena has no roof, so the last light is still on the stone when the set starts.

The building

The Arena went up in the first century, under Vespasian, and is the only Roman amphitheatre that keeps all four side towers and its complete outer wall in three orders. It held over twenty thousand then. For concerts the floor takes a few thousand, seated, and the acoustics of an oval built for voices carrying without amplification do the rest.
