Why it is worth your time
From Ban Jelačić Square, Ilica runs west: nearly six kilometres of shop windows, stores, cafés and the ring of trams. It is Zagreb's main shopping vein and the pulse of everyday life. From it you ride the funicular up to the Upper Town.
