
St Mark's Church

The most beloved of the linked parks that form Zagreb's 19th-century Green Horseshoe, Zrinjevac is an avenue of giant plane trees, a music pavilion and a meteorological column where the city strolls, courts and gathers. In December it glows as the centre of Zagreb's award-winning Advent; in summer, brass bands still play the bandstand on Sundays.
Come for a Sunday-morning brass concert at the bandstand, or in December for the city's famous Advent lights.
