The southern jewel of Zagreb's Green Horseshoe, this long park stretches from the main station to the Art Pavilion, with the equestrian statue of King Tomislav at its head. Laid out in the late 19th century and lined with plane trees, flower beds and benches, it is the city's classic first impression for travellers stepping off the train and a favourite spot for a stroll.
Walk the full length from the station to the Art Pavilion: the green axis lines up the statue, the fountains and the golden pavilion.
