Why it is worth your time
A perfectly circular building designed by Ivan Meštrović, one of the city's strangest: in the 1940s it briefly gained minarets and became a mosque, then a museum of revolution, and today it is the Home of Croatian Artists, full of exhibitions. An architectural one-off.
