Why it is worth your time
Split's biggest city beach stretches along the eastern shore as a long pebble strip, freshly rebuilt into a modern seaside promenade. The day here belongs to beach life: bars, sport and plenty of room to spread out. Come for energy and a long afternoon by the water rather than quiet solitude.
