Why it is worth your time
In the string of Split's eastern city beaches, Ovčice is the small, easy-going cove in between: pebbles, a stripe of sand and a beach bar where nobody hurries. Locals drop by for a quick swim after work, visitors tend to stay longer than planned. Just the right mix if you want calm without giving up a coffee or a cold drink.
