Bene lies on the northern shore of the Marjan forest park, where pines grow almost to the waterline and the sea turns a clean turquoise over rock and pebble. There are no cars here, just the shade of the woods, a few tennis courts under the trees and swimmers who prefer calm water to crowds. The walk or bike ride through the park to reach it is half the pleasure.
Walk or cycle in along the Marjan park paths, the approach is part of the experience.
