This viewpoint looks out over the narrow sea passage where it meets the open Adriatic, with the fortress standing guard at the water's edge. It is a quiet spot to watch boats thread the channel without the crowds of the old town squares. Best visited slowly, with time to take in the whole sweep of water and stone.
