Why it is worth your time

This waterfall is the great staircase of travertine cascades that the Krka river tumbles down before settling into emerald pools. Wooden walkways lead right along the water, close enough to feel the spray and hear the roar. It is the single most photographed corner of the national park, and it earns the reputation.
