Parenzana Tunnel

Why it is worth your time
Trains once rattled through this cutting in the rock, and today cyclists and walkers on the Parenzana trail pass through the same cool, narrow passage. It is a short, atmospheric stretch, a sharp contrast between the dark of the tunnel and the bright hills on either side.
