Why it is worth your time
From the northern edge of the walls the whole Mirna valley unfolds below you, a quilt of vineyards, fields and the dark line of the Motovun forest. On autumn mornings a sea of fog often fills the valley, leaving the town floating on an island of light. Linger here with a camera; the view changes with every passing hour.
