A short walk off the Stradun, this serious two-floor gallery shows the work of the world's leading war photographers, including searing images of the 1990s siege of Dubrovnik itself. Founded by a New Zealand photojournalist, it sets out not to glorify war but to strip away its myths. Sobering, brilliant and unlike anything else in the old town.
Give it a full hour and go when you're fresh, the siege exhibition is powerful, not a quick stop.
A small next-step selection from the same city.
