The wooded hill of Petka rises over the Lapad peninsula, and under the pines the air smells of resin and warm earth. Soft paths wind uphill in easy loops, and windows keep opening in the green with views of the Elaphiti islands and the open sea. This is where neighbourhood joggers and walkers come; tourists rarely find their way up.
Perfect for the hot midday hours: the forest stays cool and shady even in high summer.
