In the villa quarter of Ploče, the collection resides in a palatial townhouse with terraces facing the sea. Inside hang works of Croatian modern art, including paintings by Vlaho Bukovac from nearby Cavtat; outside, sculptures stand against the view of Lokrum and the open Adriatic. A cool, quiet counterpoint to the crowded Old Town.
