Why it is worth your time
A broad baroque flight climbs from the morning market on Gundulić square to the Jesuit church of St Ignatius, modelled on Rome's Spanish Steps. Game of Thrones made them world-famous: Cersei's walk of shame was filmed here. They are loveliest early in the morning, still empty and softly lit.
