Ježinac is a small bathing cove in the Meje district, at the southern foot of Marjan hill. Pebbles, flat rocks and pine shade are shared mostly by locals, and the water stays remarkably clear even in midsummer. Instead of beach bars you hear cicadas, instead of hotel fronts you see open sea.
Pair a swim with a walk up Marjan, the wooded paths start right above the cove.
