Froggyland is one of the strangest little museums you will ever step into: 507 taxidermy frogs arranged in handmade dioramas of human life, from the classroom to the circus to the barber's chair. The collection dates from the early twentieth century, and the craftsmanship is as astonishing as the idea is absurd. You walk out grinning, guaranteed.
The visit takes barely half an hour, but it will fuel conversation for the rest of the trip.
A small next-step selection from the same city.
