Why it is worth your time

Hidden behind the Vestibule, in the oldest heart of Diocletian's Palace, this museum shows the Dalmatia beyond the emperors: embroidered folk costumes, delicate silver jewellery and the everyday objects of life between the coast and the hinterland. The old walls of the building are an exhibit in themselves. At the end you climb to the roof terrace above the Vestibule and look out over the palace rooftops.

Croatia Atlas tip

Your ticket includes the terrace above the Vestibule, one of the loveliest views over the palace rooftops.
