Why it is worth your time
This monastery rises from its own small island, surrounded by the calm water of the Krka river upstream from the waterfalls. Boats cross out to the island as part of a visit to the national park, giving the stop a sense of quiet removed from the crowds on the mainland paths. Its setting alone makes the short crossing worthwhile.
