Stand before columns raised to Emperor Augustus two thousand years ago, when Pula was the Roman colony of Pietas Julia. Rebuilt stone by stone after a wartime bomb, it now shelters ancient statuary. Look for its mirror-image facade hidden in the town hall next door.
