An Austrian land fort on San Giorgio hill, part of the defences of Pula's naval port.

The Austrian Empire built the fort between 1852 and 1860 as one in a ring of forts around Pula. It guarded the main war harbour of the Austro-Hungarian navy and still recalls the city's military past.
