Begin where the park itself begins, at Prošćansko jezero, and trace the twelve upper lakes as they spill from one to the next down soft dolomite valleys. Broad and serene, ringed by beech and fir, they hold the park's deepest greens and quietest shores. Boardwalks thread between reedbeds, hidden bays and gentle waterfalls all the way down to Kozjak.
