Prošćansko Lake is where the chain of lakes truly begins, its wide, open water gathering the streams that will tumble downward through every pool below. Reed beds line its quieter corners while the far shore fades into forested hills. Its scale makes the water look almost still, a calm overture before the cascades ahead.
