Gola Plješivica rises above the endless forests on the border between the Lika region and Bosnia. The way to the summit passes through silent beech and fir woods where you often meet no one for hours. At the top, the view opens over forested ridges receding to the horizon.
The summit area lies right on the Bosnian border: stay on the marked trails and carry an ID document.
