A 13th-century pirate tower set into the cliff above the old town.

Omiška Dinara stands like a wall right behind Omiš. Climbing its steep paths, you soon have the old pirate town, the mouth of the Cetina and the channel towards Brač below you. Up top, only bare rock, the scent of herbs and wind.
Set off early: the south-facing slopes above town heat up strongly by mid-morning and there is hardly any shade.
