A steep path winds up the slope to the fortress raised to defend against the Ottomans. From the top unfolds one of the finest views in Dalmatia: the Cetina canyon, the rooftops of Omiš and the islands of Brač and Hvar out at sea. Bring water and set off in the late afternoon, when the stone turns golden.
