Why it is worth your time
A broad stone staircase sweeps up to the Land Gate, set into the mighty Veliki Revelin tower that has guarded the town since the fourteenth century. Climb the tower for a postcard view straight down the main street to the cathedral, with the Moreška dance often staged at its foot.
