Why it is worth your time
The Korana flows green and unhurried through Karlovac, and this riverside path stays close to it: trees leaning over the water, benches facing the river, joggers, dogs and, in summer, swimmers within sight. The river smells of leaves and cool water while the town falls away behind you. Follow the bank as far as your feet feel like going.
