Hop on a taxi boat from the Riva and in minutes the town gives way to a chain of low green islands. Swim in glass-clear coves at Palmižana, Jerolim or Stipanska, then lunch at a konoba hidden among the pines. The water here glows in shades of turquoise you will not quite believe.
