Why it is worth your time
The museum occupies Fort Imperial, a command post and front line during the 1991 attack on Dubrovnik. Documents, photographs, maps and objects trace the siege, the city's defenders, the liberation of the area and the damage inflicted on Dubrovnik and its cultural heritage. The view from the fort connects the exhibition directly with the landscape it describes.
