Why it is worth your time
Above the villages of Konavle, Sniježnica rises into bare karst, its name recalling the snow that lingers up here. Marked trails climb through maquis and scree, and with every step the view widens across the green valley and the Adriatic. At the top you stand in a silence that feels worlds away from the busy coast.
