Queen Jelena Park was laid out in 1888 on a Venetian bastion of the city fortifications. Tall trees, winding paths and benches make it a green breather in the middle of Zadar, right above Five Wells Square. From the rampart's edge you look down on the little boats of the Foša harbour.
Good for the midday heat: deep shade, and from the rampart edge a view of the boats in the Foša harbour.
A small next-step selection from the same city.
