Why it is worth your time

The Kneževa palača was once the residence of the city rector who governed Zadar in Venice's name. After long neglect the palace was carefully restored and now serves as a house for exhibitions, concerts and cultural evenings. Old stone walls and bright modern halls interlock handsomely inside.

Croatia Atlas tip

The Providur's Palace is right next door; the two palaces form one connected cultural complex.
