The Kaštel is a fortified tower on Komiža's waterfront, a protected monument that once defended the town from pirates. It now houses a fishing museum with a replica of the traditional falkuša boat, telling the story of Vis's fishing soul.
Look for the falkuša replica inside; it is open mainly in summer, so check the hours.
