Why it is worth your time
Malačka is a pass in the Kozjak ridge, which separates the coast around Trogir and Kaštela from the Dalmatian hinterland. From its edge the view drops across the whole of Kaštela Bay, out to Split and the islands beyond. A road climbs all the way up, a mountain hut sits at the pass, and marked trails run along the Kozjak crest from here.
