Glavanovo is one of those small bathing spots where Rijeka lives with the sea: pebbles underfoot, clear Kvarner water and towels spread wherever there is room. Locals come down for their daily swim, chat in the shallows and dry off in the sun. Join them and the port city suddenly feels like a village by the water.
