From here, a waymarked route heads inland through Istria's countryside, past vineyards and small villages, open to walkers and cyclists alike. You do not need to cover the whole distance, even a short stretch gives a feel for the greener, quieter side of the peninsula. Bring water and sun protection, since much of the way runs open to the sky.
