A beach on the pine-covered Lanterna peninsula north of Poreč.
Lanterna occupies its own peninsula well north of the old town, its shoreline backed by pine woods that keep much of it shaded. Quiet coves alternate with open stretches of coast along the way, giving swimmers a choice of settings. It suits a full day out more than a quick stop, given the distance from the centre.
